VISA REQUEREMENTS FOR CITIZENS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
Citizens of the European Union can apply for a visa to Russia in Serbia provided that they submit the following documents:
1. Passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from visa expiration date and have at least two blank pages.
2. Document confirming that the visa applicant has been duly registered with the Serbian police authorities and stays in Serbia legally.
Citizens of the following countries: Denmark, Italy, Malta, Romania and Czech Republic, are obliged to provide a proof of having a temporary residence permit in Serbia.
Citizens of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Slovenia, Finland, Germany, Croatia and Estonia, are obliged to provide a proof of having a temporary residence permit in Serbia for a period of more than 90 days.
3. Visa application form, filled in, printed out, signed with a recent photo glued up to the form (sized 3,5 x 4,5 sm).
For a tourist visa it is also necessary to submit:
1. Tourist voucher and a tourist acceptance letter of confirmation issued by the tourist agency registered in Russia.
2. Travel medical insurance for an amount of at least 30.000 EUR, valid in Russia for all period of stay.
For a business or humanitarian visa it is also necessary to submit:
1. Invitation letter of a proper form from the organization or company registered in Russia.
2. Travel medical insurance for an amount of at least 30.000 EUR, valid in Russia for all period of stay.
For a private visa it is also necessary to submit:
1. Invitation letter for a private visa issued by the Russian migration authorities on the request of the Russian citizen.
2. Travel medical insurance for an amount of at least 30.000 EUR, valid in Russia for all period of stay.
For a work visa it is also necessary to submit:
1. Invitation letter for a work visa issued by the Russian migration authorities on the request of the employer.
2. Recent HIV-certificate from a medical laboratory (only for multiple entry visas).
For a student visa it is also necessary to submit:
1. Invitation letter for a student visa issued by the Russian migration authorities on the request of the educational institute.
2. Recent HIV-certificate from a medical laboratory (only for multiple entry visas).
For a transit visa it is also necessary to submit:
1. Connecting flights tickets.
2. Valid visa, residence permit or other documents required to enter the next country after visiting Russian Federation.
3. Travel medical insurance for an amount of at least 30.000 EUR, valid in Russia for all period of stay.
Visa fee is 35 EUR (paid in RSD) and 70 EUR for an urgent procedure.
For citizens of Ireland and Great Britain visa fee is 70 USD (paid in RSD) for single entry visas, 100 USD (paid in RSD) for double entry visas, 200 USD (paid in RSD) for multiple entry visas. The urgent procedure is double charged.
The common procedure takes from 4 to 10 working days, the urgent procedure takes 1-3 days.
